The Wolfsonian is committed to providing an inviting and accessible experience for visitors of all abilities.

  • We provide complimentary admissionto visitors with disabilities and their accompanying caregivers.
  • Trained service animals are welcome. Pets and emotional support animals are not permitted inside the building.
  • Closed captioning is availablein the galleries.

Should you need an ADA accommodation to participate in a University event, program, or activity or need to request materials in an accessible format, please contact FIU's Office of Civil Rights Compliance and Accessibility (CRCA) at 305.348.2785 or accommodations@fiu.edu. All requests for ADA accommodation or accessible materials must be submitted to CRCA at least seven (7) business days prior to the event or at the earliest possible opportunity.

    Individual visitors may arrange for temporary drop-off or pick-up at the City of Miami Beach Municipal Lot P13, located at 1000 Washington Avenue, directly across from the museum.

Getting Around the Museum

  • Visitors can bring their own wheelchairs, walkers, or mobility scooters.
  • A limited number of manual wheelchairs are available at no charge on a first-come, first-served basis. Please ask at the box office upon arrival.
  • All public floors of the museum are accessible by elevator. The museum lobby is on the 1st floor with direct street access.
  • Accessible, single-stall restrooms are located on the 1st floor (in the Design Store) and 3rd floor.
