People on the Street: A Portrait Photography Pop-Up

Genovese artist Emanuele Timothy Costa brings his #Thousandpeople project to Miami! In a pop-up residency, Costa will make The Wolfsonian's iconic Bridge Tender House his home for afternoons December 6–9, to immortalize the stories and portraits of passersby on Washington Avenue. Costa's camera has captured portrait photographs of over 5,000 people around the world for #Thousandpeople, an online interactive exhibition that reflects the multiculturalism and diversity—the housewives, homeless people, lawyers, children, tourists, and more—that together create the complex human mosaic of a city. "Behind every look, every wrinkle is hiding a story worthy of being told."
