When the going gets wild, creatives think outside the box!
Since we can't head to the Miami Zine Fair for our zines fix, the zines are coming to you. Tune in to EXILE Books' Instagram (@exilebooks) as Wolfsonian education manager Zoe Welch and EXILE's Phil Lique take teen-made #Zines4Progress creations for a virtual spin. The live interview will showcase selections from 100 zines produced by over 250 students in 10 MDCPS high school classrooms, with each zine revealing the hot-button issues, social concerns, and inner thoughts that are top-of-mind for today's youth. Hear what these zines, and teens, have to say, and send us questions to join in on the conversation.
