Into the Stacks: Mermaids and Sea Nymphs

We're going to great depths with this month's Into the Stacks! Captains Nathaniel Sandler and Wolfsonian membership manager Alexandra O'Neale will lead you beneath the surface of the Wolfsonian collection to discover the mermaids and other sea creatures that lurk below. This deep dive will reveal some of our most mythological objects' backstories while showing how they inspired the imaginations of artists, illustrators, and designers.
This program is presented in conjunction with Sandler's Knight Foundation-funded project, Crypt Cracking.
