Now in print, the companion book to the exhibition Plotting Power: Maps and the Modern Age adds new insights and depth to the project. Curator and author Lea Nickless will introduce the publication with a focus on early radio, discussing the use of maps and globes in the promotion and design of this new technology, and explore the link between geographical knowledge and power. Discounted copies of the book will be available for purchase in the Design Store after the talk.
