Recent Acquisitions

In this installation of recent Wolfsonian acquisitions, the museum honored the generosity of donors through the presentation of posters by Edward Quigley, Edwin Howland Blashfield, F. Sindelar, Charles Buckles Falls, Sidney H. Riesenberg, and more (featuring donations by Dennis W. Wilhelm and Michael D. Kinerk, and Henry S. Hacker). Also featured were wartime sketches by artists on the front during the Russo-Japanese and the Greco-Turkish Wars, and period publications about military conflicts (gifted by Jean S. and Frederic A. Sharf); Second World War-era, victory-themed items (gifted by Victory Gold Levi); and tins promoting packaged products and other promotional materials relating to food (gifted by Jewel Stern and Jeffrey H. Flemings, respectively).
